How to select and unmute the Meeting Owl or Meeting Owl Pro as your speaker in your Operating System

Mac:

  1. Open System Preferences and select Sound. 
  2. Select the Output tab at the top of the window and select Meeting Owl/Meeting Owl Pro. 
  3. At the bottom of the window, make sure Mute next to Output Volume is not selected (there should be no tick in the checkbox)
  4. Make sure that the Output Volume slider is moved to the right.

Windows 7:

  1. Click the Start button at the bottom left of the taskbar and then click Control Panel
  2. Under Hardware and Sound, select Manage audio devices.
  3. In the Sound window, select Meeting Owl/Meeting Owl Pro and then select Properties at the bottom right.
  4. In the Speakers Properties window, click the Levels tab
  5. If there is a little red circle over the speaker icons 

    click on it to unmute your sound
  6. Drag the slider under Meeting Owl/Meeting Owl Pro to the right to adjust output sound volume.

Windows 10:

  1. Right click on the speaker icon Image result for windows 10 speaker iconat the bottom right of your screen,
  2. Select Open Volume Mixer.  
  3. In the Device tab, find Meeting Owl/Meeting Owl Pro (or Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Meeting Owl Pro version 1.0.6.18+)). 
  4. If there is a little red circle over the speaker icons 

    click on it to unmute your sound
  5. Drag the slider under Meeting Owl/Meeting Owl Pro up to adjust output sound volume.
