What are the features of the Meeting Owl App?

If you don’t see a feature in your Meeting Owl App, check out our Meeting Owl Pro or Meeting Owl Software Release Notes to see if the feature is available for your software version, app version, or region. Update your Owl’s software and Meeting Owl app to access features on a later software version.

Meeting Owl

  • Camera Controls - Settings are reset at the end of each meeting.
    • Camera Lock: Use your device to control the Owl’s camera and lock in on a person or part of the room.
  • Meeting Analytics: View your Owl’s meeting analytics.**
  • About Your Owl
    • Admin - Default Camera Settings - Settings persist across meetings until manually re-set. 
    • Data Privacy Settings: Change your Owls’ Data Privacy Settings through the Meeting Owl App.
    • Set Owl Passcode: Set a numeric passcode to restrict who can access this Owl’s settings.

Meeting Owl Pro

  • Camera Controls - Settings are reset at the end of each meeting.
  • Meeting Analytics: View your Owl’s meeting analytics.**
  • Owl Connect: Connect two Owl devices.*
  • About Your Owl
    • Admin - Default Camera Settings - Settings persist across meetings until manually re-set. 
      • Shift Panorama Center: Use this feature to shift the alignment of the Owl’s panorama.
      • Vertically Flip Owl View: Vertically flip your Owl’s camera view.
      • Presenter Enhance: Owl’s camera actively follows presenter.*
      • Toggle 360° Panoramic Strip: Turn on or turn off the Owl’s 360° Panoramic Strip.*
      • Audio settings
        • Enable Double talk detection: Double talk detection allows for remote and local participants to hear one another when speaking at the same time without the volume canceling one another out. This works well for most customers, but can cause various audio issues in some scenarios.
        • Reduce Residual Echo: Reduce echo for remote participants.
    • Data Privacy Settings: Change your Owls’ Data Privacy Settings through the Meeting Owl App.
    • Set Owl Passcode: Set a numeric passcode to restrict who can access this Owl’s settings.

Whiteboard Owl

  • Owl Connect: Connect two Owl devices.*
  • About Your Owl
    • Admin - Default Camera Settings - Settings persist across meetings until manually re-set. 
      • Reset Whiteboard Owl Crop: Resetting the Whiteboard Owl’s crop will shift the Whiteboard Owl’s video feed so that your whiteboard is front and center in the frame.
    • Data Privacy Settings: Change your Owls’ Data Privacy Settings through the Meeting Owl App.
    • Set Owl Passcode: Set a numeric passcode to restrict who can access this Owl’s settings.

Meeting Owl Tablet App

These features are only available to Meeting Owl Pro on iPad.

* Denotes a feature that does not require an active Wi-Fi connection, but can only be accessed by a software update that requires a Wi-Fi connection. (Cannot be accessed via Mobile Refresh).
